That is Push-To-Talk Radio over cellular (POC) which works over 3G/4G any type of network (Telstra, Optus, Vodafone, you need to insert data SIM Card) or over Wi-Fi connection.

Some people want POC performance without having a screen, clients also like traditional looking radios with Digital Performance and unlimited range. Some also just want simpleness, turn it on and PTT, meaning staff cannot tamper with settings, turn GPS off etc. The T522A is the strongest most solid radio we have available. It feels outstanding, the whole build design is 5 Star. We only sell products we know are decent. We certainly would not sell a radio we would not use ourselves. We put this radio to the test, we used it as a Hammer to hammer a few nails in the wall. Dropped it from several heights and it was not phased in the slightest. Just because the manufacture is not Motorola does not mean it is a piece of junk! We can prove it by selling you one of these. Nobody would believe looking at this radio that you could be at Gold Coast and the other person(s) in Perth etc and you still can talk to them instantly! It just looks like a standard radio, but little do they know it is one of the future radios, you could be chasing a shoplifter 5 kilometres away from your store and still speak to your colleagues!......
